Nothing but a tent, a good book, champagne, sand in our toes, smoke-filled clothes,
and each other.
Jake surprised me with candles and champagne to kick off our
relaxing celebratory 4-day camping expedition.
Of course, we stopped in Tigard to pick up some cheesecake!

These are just a few shots of one of the most amazing weekends I have had in years. We really needed to just getaway and enjoy each other for once without trying to fit that time into a minute time-slot in my schedule; four days of no schedule, phones, or stress can really do a person and a relationship some serious good. This marks the beginning of a new adventure Jake and I will journey together. We really needed this time to just enjoy the more than serene surroundings, reflect on our lives and the world around us, and BE TOGETHER. I am excited for what is to come and I could not have asked for someone better to share these memories and conversations with.
